Jordan Castillow is a composer, percussionist and teacher who received his Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Florida. His compositions represent a wide range of styles and genres, including jazz, Afro-Caribbean, pop, funk, indie and classical. As an instructor of percussion, he has worked with high school bands and arts programs, steel drum bands and the University of Florida drumline, in addition to being a high school choral director.
Mr. Castillow is currently working on an album and has recently released a single from that work called “Call Ya,” and another called “Flicker,” which is a cover to a Niall Horan song, from the band One Direction. The latter song featured an arrangement that included 30 musicians, and both pieces can be heard through streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music.
